Hair transplantation procedure involves transferring hair from an area which is unaffected by hair loss – known as the donor area, to an area where the hair is thinning or is entirely bald. For candidates facing Hair Loss and looking for Hair Transplantation, there are two different methods for performing hair transplants:

- Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)

- Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT)

WHAT IS FUE?

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is the modern and most advanced approach to hair transplants and is usually favored by patients because it leaves less obvious scarring.

For FUE, individual hair follicles are extracted directly from the patient's donor area, which is typically the back of the neck, and then moved to the hair transplant site using a specialist micro surgical needle.

WHAT IS NO-SHAVE FUE?

Traditionally, FUE hair transplant procedures required the doctor to shave the donor zone. However, in using a new option called no-shave FUE, the surgeon only has to trim the donor follicle hairs, while keeping all other hair at the same length.

WHAT IS FUT?

In Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT), strips of tissue is removed from the donor areaand then dissected into individual grafts before inserting them into the balding areas in a natural grouping of one to four hairs at a time.Tiny cuts are then made in the scalp for the follicular unit grafts to be carefully placed into, which can leave some scarring.

HAIR REPLACEMENT SYSTEM

A hair replacement system (Also called Hair Piece), is fixed to your scalp to be able to give you a head full of hair. These are also natural looking and completely undetectable.Hair replacement system just looks, feels like your own hair. No need to worry about your everyday activities, you can go for swimming, take a shower, play outside with your family.

WHAT IS PRP?

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) treatment for hair loss is a three-step medical treatment in which a person's blood is drawn, processed, and then injected into the scalp.Recent studies have suggested that applying PRP to the scalp can address androgenic alopecia (male pattern baldness). Complex baldness problems may require getting once-a-month PRP treatments for four to six months.PRP therapy is becoming a popular complement to hair transplants. PRP can help accelerate the growth of transplanted hair roots while also thickening existing hair.
